Video Production Club
The Video Production Club is an after school club to allow the next generation of student producers more opportunities to create video projects, learn new skills, and work alongside others with similar interests. Members will submit work to various film festivals, participate in workshops and have the opportunity to attend some field trips. VPC will meet weekly during Wildcat Period attendance will be mandatory to remain on the roster for the club and be eligible for activities.
Twenty-one members from the club traveled to Ocean City, Maryland to participate remotely in the Student Television Network (STN) Convention. Altogether, seven video entries were completed on time and submitted for judging. The Crazy 8 Documentary team discovered the K-Coast Surf Shop, born in OC Maryland in 1989, and beautifully told their story. Their film impressed the judges enough to be awarded 3rd in the Nation but the real win is the experiences and learning that the students will have forever. Check out the recap video.
